A couple of years ago, in a financial report from Sony and more specifically their video game division, PlayStation, it was made official that they had twelve games as a service in development. In November 2023, Hiroki Totoki lowered that number to six. Helldivers 2 has been one of the phenomena of the year, giving hope to the brand after those GAAS adjustments.

And a few days ago, another of the half-dozen multiplayer games arrived. Concord, a hero-shooter developed by veteran studio Firewalk, lands on both PlayStation 5 and PC after several betas and early access.

The elephant in the room is present and there's no point in dodging it any further. Concord is a videogame that weeks before release saw its price reduced in several official shops from 40 to 26 euros, and that at the time of writing, just a few days after launch, has 138 players on Steam and 206 viewers on Twitch.
